La Television Academy ha svelato le nomination per la 77a edizione degli Emmy, i successi di Apple TV+ “Severance” e “The Studio” hanno guidato le classifiche, rispettivamente per le serie drammatiche e comedy. HBO Max, nel frattempo, guida il carro tra le reti con 142 nomination, grazie a serie come “The Penguin“, “The White Lotus”, “The Last of Us” e “Hacks”. Un dato in aumento rispetto al precedente record della rete, 140 nel 2022. Ma “Severance”, che ha ottenuto 27 nomination, e “The Studio”, che ne ha conquistate 23, sono irraggiungibili come singole serie. In particolare, “The Studio” ha ottenuto il maggior numero di nomination per una serie comedy in un solo anno, eguagliando la terza stagione di “The Bear”, che ha ottenuto 23 nomination nel 2024 vincendone 11, il che rappresenta anche un record per il maggior numero di Emmy vinti da una serie comedy in un solo anno.
