Dopo i tantissimi rumours degli ultimi giorni, è stata annunciata (con larghissimo anticipo) la line-up del Coachella 2026 che vedrà tra i protagonisti, Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber e Karol G.
Nella mattinata odierna, il festival di Indio che si terrà dal 10 al 12 aprile e dal 17 al 19 aprile ha annunciato il programma completo. Saranno Sabrina Carpenter e Karol G, chiuderanno rispettivamente le giornate del venerdì e della domenica, mentre Justin Bieber sarà il protagonista di entrambi i sabati. Per quest’ultimo il Coachella segnerà il primo grande show che vedrà il ritorno della voce di Yummy on stage, da quando era stato cancellato il tour mondiale Justice a seguito della rivelazione della popstar, quando nel 2022 annunciava dii soffrire della sindrome di Ramsay Hunt. L’edizione 2026 lo vedrà anche per la prima volta come artista ufficiale al Coachella, anche se in passato è apparso come ospite speciale nei set di altri colleghi.

Per Karol G e Sabrina Carpenter sarà la seconda volta sul palco del festival di Indio: la popstar latina ritornerà dopo un’assenza di quattro anni, mentre la voce di Espresso si esibirà a seguito della performance del 2024. Tra gli artisti che si esibiranno figurano The XX, Nine Inch Noize (Nine Inch Nails e Boys Noize), Disclose, Turnstile, Ethel Cain, KATSEYE, The Strokes, Addison Rae, Labrinth, David Byrne, Interpol, Alex G, BIGBANG, Laufey, Iggy Pop, FKA Twigs, Wet Leg, Clipse e tanti altri. Ci sarà dj italo-americano Anyma con uno show speciale, soprannominato Æden. Il poster ufficiale rivela anche il debutto della mostra d’arte Kid A Mnesia dei Radiohead che arriverà nel deserto californiano.
