Sono state annunciate le nominations dei Brit Awards 2026, che si terranno per la prima nella nuova location di Manchester, alla Co-Op Live il prossimo 28 febbraio.

A guidare l’elenco ci sono, Olivia Dean e Lola Young entrambe a quota cinque nominations, seguite da Sam Fender presente in quattro categorie, mentre un super gruppo formato da Wolf Alice, Lily Allen, Fred Again.., Dave e Jim Legxacy ne hanno conquistato tre a testa. Nella categoria Artista dell’anno figurano Jade, Dave, Sam Fender Lily Allen, Fred Again.. tra i tanti. Lola Young è stata nominata nelle categorie Artista rivelazione, Rock alternativo, Pop e Canzone dell’anno con Messy

Nominations Brit Awards 2026: ci sono anche Bad Bunny e Sabrina Carpenter

I candidati al premio Gruppo dell’anno sono i precedenti vincitori del premio BRIT Rising Star The Last Dinner Party, insieme a Sleep Token, Wet Leg, Wolf Alice e Pulp. Con questa nomination, Jarvis Cocker e soci ritornano in lizza ai premi dopo trent’anni. Doechii, Geese, Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, HAIM, Turnstile, Tame Impala e si daranno battaglia per il premio Artista Internazionale mentre tra quelli in lizza per il premio Mastercard Album Dell’Anno ci sono Lily Allen, Olivia Dean, Sam Fender, Wolf Alice e Dave.

Where Is My Husband? di Raye, Nice To Meet You di Myles Smith, Lewis Capaldi con Survive che ha segnato il suo ritorno sulle scene, e Defying Gravity di Cynthia Erivo e Ariana Grande compongono la categoria Canzone dell’anno . Jacob Alon si è aggiudicato il BRITs Critics’ Choice Award, superando Rose Gray e Sienna Spiro. Il candidato al Mercury Prize si unisce a un’impressionante lista di vincitori del passato, che ha visto trionfare Adele, Florence and the Machine, Ellie Goulding, Sam Smith e Jorja Smith.
